- Overall our production values of the filming are good with the equipment we used. Some of the camerawork was a bit shaky, but we can improve this by using the tripod more effectively.
- The zooms we used turned out well, and bring the focus to either the antagonist or key props. The point-of-view shots and over-the-shoulder shots is probably our strongest bit of camera work, as they show the point of view of the antagonist, showing his anger and helps create a sense of verisimilitude.
- Our location was good as it allowed for a variation of shots from different angles and allowed lots of twists and turns in the chase scene, which will eventually lead to a high cutting rate to build tension, but it could have been improved by making it more scary, using features of mise-en-scene such as lower lighting and scarier looking trees, this would have added to the filming.
- As well as that, working with scripts and story boards would have improved our work, as our acting was not of the standard we wanted. The editing towards the beginning of the clip was not great, as you could still hear the cameraman saying ‘go’ but this is something we know to eradicate for our main task now.
- There were some good examples of high frame rate at the end of the production, this is something we definitely are going to do in our main production as it looked professional and helped build the tension in the chase.
